ABOUT ME
Hi guys, I’m Valerie Martinez, but you can call me “Val.” I’m a wife, a proud mama to a sweet baby boy, and a dedicated special education teacher at my local high school. My passion for photography started in high school when I was just a sophomore. It all began when my math teacher brought in the coolest camera, and she graciously allowed me to take photos at a volleyball game. I instantly fell in love with the art of photography and knew I wanted to explore it further.
Not long after that, I asked my parents for a camera for my birthday, and they generously gifted me one. That camera became my gateway into the world of photography, and it wasn’t long before I upgraded to a DSLR with the help of my boyfriend. From that point on, I was hooked, and photography became a passion that I continue to pursue.
Today, I specialize in capturing weddings, families, couples, maternity, and senior portraits. My goal with every session is to create timeless images that tell a story and preserve the precious moments that matter most to my clients. I truly believe in the power of photography to connect people with their memories, and I am honored to be part of those moments. Whether it’s a wedding, family gathering, or a special milestone, I approach each session with creativity, attention to detail, and a deep sense of care for the people I photograph.
Balancing my work as a teacher, wife, and mother with my photography business has been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do what I love while making a meaningful impact in the lives of my clients
